After that, the patient will be able to see, but will experience fluctuating degrees of blurred vision throughout the rest of the procedure. The doctor will then lift the flap up, fold it back on its hinge, dry the exposed tissue and the laser process will begin. The patient will be asked to stare at a light, and the doctor will use the pre-programmed laser to complete the procedure.
